    Feeling ear
Hi Survivor31, I began having "feeling" in one ear, then the other, several months after chemo and radiation. I'm sure you will let your doctor know on the seventh, and be sure to see someone before if symptoms worsen. But, I did have plugging, unplugging, along with eventual partial hearing loss.

Sorry to hear about your ear pain tho. I get problems with my ears every once in a while and it gets me a bit nervous. Wishing you a wonderful 2011.

    ear's
A couple of month's back I had terrible ear pain in my left ear. Went to the local clinic & the DR checked out both ear's. Turned out I had an infection & hardened ear wax from radiation. I was told to buy mineral oil which I applied with a dropper twice a day! I would keep my head flat on a pillow for about 10 minutes after applying the oil to it. Then after a week I bought a can of irrigate from the pharmacy & that helped loosen the wax out. I was very worried it was something else. Now it is much better. Don't panic! It can be something minor like I had!

Hope the ear thing gets better for you, 31, and this 2011 is a grand one for you. Just because there's an issue does not mean it's C- could be the way the body is dealing with a far-lesser issue. Prayers for you, girl.

    Ear problems
It's understandable to worry if you are having pain or blockage in your ear since this is how they found your cancer. I had severe ear and throat pain before my diagnosis so every time I have the slightest pain in my ear I automatically think the worse. Usually it's fine the next day and I just laugh at myself for being so paranoid.

If it continues or concerns you too much you should call your ENT, you can have him take a look at it and relieve your fears.

Wishing you the best in 2011!!!

There are a number of things that can affect the Eustachian tube in the ear making it feel like it is blocked. Cold weather, Heater on inside you house, Mucus, blowing your noise too hard, having radiation treatment to the head, and don’t forget getting a cold. I suggest you make an appointment with your ENT and have him/ her take a look; you might need to get fitted with ear tubes.

Keeping you in prayer in the New Year
