another yucky day!

another tough day - in lots of pain from the gallbladder surgery - and there is no room service at home, have to fend for myself ;( radiation oncologist decided to stop radiation after tomorrow's treatment until we get pet scan results. evidently ct scan showed inflamed nodes in left armpit! how can that be after 8 months of chemo, mastectomy of left breast and axillary lymph nodes and 24 radiation treatments??? she is extremely alarmed by this! (and her alarm has freaked me out!!!)

    Fellow TNBC, I'm so sorry
    that you are having a rough time of it! It is not fair to have to fend for yourself--but as your picture says, you are "tough enough" and will win this battle too!

    Drats! did you have the laproscopic or the other. when I had my gallbladder out, it took me a bit to feel better. Its in a place that you use alot just to move!!! I wish we lived closer then i would come take care of you .So what will the next step be? keeping you in my prayers!

    Sorry to hear that you are having a hard time, please know that you have MANY friends out hear that are sending good thoughts and prayers your way. Hopefully the inflamed nodes are just an infection and they will able to be taken care with antiboitics.

    I'm hoping you start to feel better soon
    So sorry you're having a yucky day. If I lived near you, I'd definitely be your room service girl. I'm hoping and praying that with a little more rest you'll feel better real soon. We're all thinking of you and praying for you, Heidi.

    So sorry for your pain and alarm.
    It looks like we'd all like to provide room service - so much so that you'd have to hang out the 'do not disturb' sign.

    So sorry to hear of your setback. I had my gall bladder taken out a few years ago and it was done laparoscopically; painful for the first day or so but I healed up quickly. Keep us posted on the inflamed nodes - prayers and hugs are coming your way. Linda

    So sorry to hear all that you are going through. As a few stated maybe it is an infection. Could it be from the gallbladder surgery? Try not to worry, it may not be serious even though the dr. is alarmed. Some doctors just become alarmed quickly and some don't.
    Try to stay positive.

    Heidi, IBC is very
    Heidi, IBC is very aggressive. I had just about the same treatment as you except I am Her2 positive so I also had Herceptin and I still had swollen lymph nodes. I am receiving treatment from the worlds expert in IBC. I really think that he can help you, if you need his name, send me a pm. I have heard that he also does phone confernces with other oncologists. Hope you are feeling better

    Heidi you have been thru so much and i hope one day soon all this will be behind you cuz you so deserve it and also deserve to have a GOOD day instead of a YUCKY day...i at least hope today is a little better than yesterday and if i lived near you id also be your room service girl or if i could afford to hire someone for you i would.
