    Everything
All organs are scanned heart, lungs, stomach, colon, etc. They even could see my j-pouch and the incision of my ostomy that was removed a year ago so they can see everything.

    Kez:
When George gets scans, the doc orders chest, abdomen and pelvis so everything is covered.

    I didn't
I didn't respond because I didn't know the answer as to the differences. Mine have always been from chest down past colon, so I couldn't tell you.
    Sorry.

    upper and lower
they are different scans here Ketz but I do not know exactly which organs. If it is upper body here you have to eat pudding just before the test.....the pudding has the contrast dye and I know for sure this one does lungs.

sometimes they do me for lower and that ct does not show the lung but it does show the liver....they want to limit exposure to radiation so they will often call for one or the other....sorry i am not able to be more specific
