Hi all:

Basketcase here! Got back Sunday night from NC. This was my second trip in to Charlie's folks since his passing. It still is hard initially but I made it. Got my mother-in-law's decorations up for Christmas. My father-in-law is having a rough time as we approach the holiday season (like I'm not!) Nothing's the same since Chuck (that's what they called Charlie) is gone (I agree of course) and it isn't home anymore since he's passed away. Now mind you Chuck hadn't lived there for the past 40 years and 37 of those years were with me! He tends to brood and get himself worked up and then his angina and acid reflux act up. I'm going to write him a nice long letter after T'giving as that is easier since he's so hard of hearing but reads well! I want him to know that I consider him a source of my strength. I don't know if it's because I had such a wonderful relationship with my own Daddy or what but there's just something that is so comforting when he puts his arms around me and lets me cry on his shoulder. It's just so fatherly! Anyway his name his Harold and please keep him and my mother-in-law Wilma in your prayers. I'm back up there on Dec. 21 for Christmas and I am looking forward to it. It'll be hard alright. Charlie was such a Christmas person and just so into it but he was like that about everything. I try to remind them how much Charlie would want us to carry on and not wallor in our grief and reminding them of that is hard for me to do. I don't wallor but I do have my ups and down. I just miss him so much.

Anyway I do have my brother and his wife and my sister and her children and granddaughters coming to my house for T'giving and then on Friday I'm going to Chatt. and on Sat. my best friend and I are going to the TN-KY game in Knoxville. We'll be wild and wooly in our orange and white as we always are when we go but we have a great time!

One last thing, how do y'all get your pictures on here. I'd love to put one of Charlie and me on here but don't know how to. Let me know and I'll put one on here. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to all and God Bless! Gobble Gobble!

    Welcome Back
Man, whoever told you to stay busy for while, you're sure listening to them. Glad you had another (mostly) good visit with your in-laws.

It'd be nice to see a pic of you and Charlie. To load your picture, you need to know where the picture is on your computer. Click on My CSN space near the top left of the screen. You'll see info on you; About Me will be underlined. Click on the gray Edit button. You'll see Preferences underlined - Click on Picture. You can upload a picture from there, it'll ask where the picture is, and you can follow the prompts to the file location. After you laod the photo, you'll probably need to close the CSN site, and close internet, then reopen and go back to CSN before you'll be able to see the photo loaded correctly. There's probably a better way to get the pic to come up, but I don't know it.

I'd wish you luck with the KY-TN game, but can't as a loyal Kentuckian. Have a great Thanksgiving - hope you're not hosting AND doing all the work.

    Wishing you the very best......

Also, on the photo, if you can edit it first so that it's 150 x 150, it will be the perfect size....

If you want you can send the one you like to me. I'll fix the size for you and send it back.

Then you should just be able to post it like mentioned above.
