    Just Yard Work
Just cleaning up the yard for the winter. There is no holiday here on Monday for the US, how about you? We do have a going away party for my son-in-law on Saturday who is leaving for Afghanistan soon. We had a special dinner with him and daughter last night. We wish him well.

    Sunday
All the little creatures will be coming out of the woodwork Sunday evening LOL. Hopefully it won't snow for them. I've carved my pumpkins already and made my seeds to eat - yummy. Do you celebrate Halloween?

    Thank you for the prayers.

    We appreciate them all!

    Starting Saturday night.....
We do a trunk or treat at church for the community kids, we all dress up in not to scary costumes and pass out candy..Lots of fun..Sunday morning church then October is Pastor appreciation month. We are having a surprise luncheon for him and his wife with cards and gifts for them...Then Sunday evening we are hosting our 5th Sunday singing...This is where all of the area Cumberland Presbyterian churches gather to pretty much have several different individuals or groups sing...It is a lot of fun if you like to sing or hear some great musicians................and then try to sneak in a little fishing in somewhere... :)

    Have a great weekend all.....Buzz

The boat needs to come out
The boat needs to come out of the water tomorrow; my husband is looking after that. I will take my daughter to ref soccer tomorrow + maybe do a little shopping. (By the way Pepe, my daughter did know who that famous soccer player was; I must have said his name wrong). Sunday I am having lunch with a friend + then of course giving out treats at night. Tonight we will watch "Blue Bloods" with Tom Selleck.

    This weekend
Well first off, I'm feeling a bit better so, I'm thinking that tomorrow morning I will make my dog happy and get her out for a walk finally. We usually do about 3 miles in the mornings and another 1 or so miles in the evenings. She's a Jack Russell so she walks me and it's a good power walk. Since this first round of chemo kicked my butt, it will be nice to get some fresh air and return to something normal. Thank goodness I have that little dog to motivate me to get better and walk. Then there is my dog's favorite holiday on Sunday, Halloween. She loves kids and thinks that all the kids come to the house to say hi to her and pet her. So, I am looking forward to passing out candy to the kids and seeing all the happy faces.

Just glad to be feeling like I'm recuperating from the chemo. Maybe, I will be able to stand the smell of food and even cooked something this weekend.

Well lately ,in the last 20 years l must say yes, but
originally we do celebrate the day of "all the the saints" which is an official catholic holiday celebrated in all the European catholic countries , mainly France, Italy and Spain. But all this has turned in to a funny halloween holiday!.

    All Saints Day
Yes, we celebrate that also, but it is not considered a holiday but a Holy Day. But we are not obligated for mass that day. All Catholics in the US recognize Nov 1 as All Saints Day.

Working in the yard. My car
Working in the yard. My car cut off again so I will need to get that repaired. This weekend will be a bit toned down from last weekend. After gardening I will just want some pancakes and a blanket.
