    Franny welcome
to the bc network. I'm sorry you had a reason to find us but there are many sisters who have a wealth of information and if you need to vent or are looking for encouragement this is the place to be. Tell us a bit more about yourself. I'm 61 and have 2 married children and almost 6 grandkids. I had bilateral mastectomy in June 2010 and I'm in chemo treatment.

    Hi Franny
Hi Franny I am so sorry that you had to find us and join the pink sisterhood but welcome. I am 46 dx in Feb. 2010 with TNBC IDC. I have two children age 15 and 13. I also am a Christian and have relied heavely upon my faith in God through this hole journey. I have had chemo, a lumpectomy and am now going through radiation. Stay positive and rely on your faith, your family and your new sisters through this journey you are going through. Ask questions, seek answers, you will definetely find them here. Read Psalm 103. God has a plan for each of us through this journey that we are going through. Franny fight the good fight with perseverance and no matter what you will win.

1 Peter 5:7 God cares for you, so turn all your worries over to Him.

    Hello
I am 63 years old. 2 adult children, 5 grand-children. Diagnosed with Stage 1 BC in the left breast on Sept. 10th. Lumpectomy on Sept. 20th. Just made my first appointment with my Oncologist for this Friday, October 1st. No nodes, clean margins, good pathology. Praying for no Chemo. This board has been a great comfort to me. Found a dear friend here and write to her now almost every day. Keep the faith. Prayer is powerful. Am on Senior League's prayer list; ask everyone to pray for me and pray for everyone on this board. Glad to have found this support. Welcome; any and all questions are answered here.

Hi Franny - my mother and I
Hi Franny - my mother and I are BOTH going through breast cancer, diagnosed within 2 months of each other. I'm also a mother to a 9 yr old and a 2 yr old. I understand the devastation that comes with a breast cancer diagnosis. This board is a wonderful place for advice, information, reassurance, kindness, understanding, and a feeling of sisterhood. There are so many wonderful caring people on here who want to help you get through this, including me. Please come here frequently, ask any and all questions that you have, and let us know how you are doing.
    *hugs*

    My gosh
My gosh we sure are welcoming an alarming amount of new people to this board! Well gald you're here, but sorry about the circumstances. None of us wants to be here, yet I think sometimes without it I'd truly go insane! I'm not a frequent poster, but I read a lot of the posts mostly beacause I will have a questiond; I log on and someone has either asked or answered just what i was getting ready to ask. Amazing don't you think?
Anyways, welcome again and I'm so sorry that you need to be here.

    Peace and Love,
    Edie

Sorry to Have to Welcome You
    Hi Franny,

You have found a wonderful group of new best friends! Everyone will be here for you and will try and answer questions. If one gal doesn't have an answer, some one else will. It's very hard at first to get the dx but you will get thru this. Stay strong.

    Hugs, Sally
