pet scan report

Hi my favorite group. Just wanted to add that I did get thru the pet scan. Bummer, I thought you were kidding about being bolted down. Lived thru it. Went for the results today and at first it was not good news. The nurse informed me they found a large mass on the scan and I needed to undress and the dr was going to do an exam. OMG...so I did. The nurse and the dr came back in and I asked where this mass was, stomach, intestines, as that is the sort of cancer the tumor is. He said to the right side of my lower stomach, near the legs. Two weeks ago, a boil, which I have never had in my life, nasty thing, started growing and just getting bigger by the day. Just what I need .I am seeing my dr in the next two wks. , will tell him about it. I sure hoped it had nothing to do with cancer, I do not know. When I told him this, he lifted the sheet, looked, dropped the sheet and laughed. Said heck of a scare you gave me. I was so relieved, we all laughed. Not that this nasty boil is funny, sure beats more cancer. Moral to this story, even nasty things can be good...ha. So, it was a good day and I went home knowing the only cancer I have is in the voice box, it has not spread anywhere, cancer no where else and I was making a trip to get an antibiotic....not bad at all. So, now off to treatment, thanks for all the support . Having the trach, peg, not alot of fun. Lost 4 lbs, down to 91, so that was the bad news. I can work with that.
