I finished chemo in Nov. and am on harmonal replacement therapy, I am always tired and my Dr does not know why, all blood work is great but I tire quickly and have to rest. Is anyone going through the same thing or have had the same. Would like to have more energy.. bella64

    What hormone therapy are you
What hormone therapy are you on? Arimidex (aromatase inhibitor like femara and aromasin) makes me very tired if I take it in the AM, so now I take it around 5PM. That works very well for me. Tamoxifen also slowed me down some but more towards the end of my course.

    Fatigue
I felt the same way for a long time. I finished chemo in Nov. 09, the fatigue continued until last March when I started weekly massage therapy. It did wonders for me. Within a month I started to feel better and I am so grateful. Hugs..Alison

I am high energy and, when I took the arimidex in the morning, I just wasn't functioning right. My daughter, Katherine, and I went out for a shopping marathon and I just couldn't do it. Katherine said, "Mom, I don't like to see you this tired."

Then I remembered that my little sister had the same problem when she started femara and I was the one who recommended taking it in the evening...lol!

Anyway, both sis and I have done very well with our energy since we switched to evening dosing. Hope it works for you too!

    my insurance paid
I just asked my onc. or my gp, don't remember which, and the next thing I knew I was gettin a massage. I did have to pay a co-pay of course. I understand that massage helps detox your muscles of the residue from chemo so drink lots of water afterwards.
