I am new to this particular board. I was dx with Stage IV Colon cancer last July and was declared NED on April of this year. On Sept 13th, my dr removed my left ovary and a cyst. It turned out to be cancerous. I don't have any other details right now and probably won't until Tuesday when I go back to the doctor.

I really don't know what I should ask. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Lab Pathology
You should be told if you have colon with mets to the ovaries or ovarian cancer with mets to the colon. It will make a difference in the chemos that will be selected. So ask what the lab pathology said at the time of surgery and get a copy of the report. You should see a gyn/onc if you have ovaraian. Saundra

My doctor told me she was
My doctor told me she was pretty sure it stemmed from the colon cancer I had back in July of 2009. I am suppose to get pathology report on Tuesday. I had pretty agressive chemo with the colon cancer. I know I will get some kind of treatment just not sure what kind or how long, etc.
