Hi All,
Do you ever feel like your on a roller coaster ride that won't stop. Just when you think the ride is slowing down , it starts to pick up speed again , next thing you know your are at the top looking down, then wham down you go again. That's been me the last couple of weeks. How do you keep it together. I know some of you are newbies to ca and some are on a return trip. I don't think it matters much, it's still one hell of a ride. I have been thinking of all of you and your daily struggles, you are such a strong group. Thank you..
Have a wonderful peaceful and healing weekend...

What can you do but just hang on??? We don't have the option of curling up in a ball in the corner. I am dealing with my cancer and my husband has had a stroke and 2 brain surgeries and another surgery to remove a piece of pick line that went all the way thru his heart. He is now home and I have to watch him 24/7 because his mind isn't in this world. BUT I had him in a nursing home and they were awful to him. So my health concerns for myself are somewhere on the back burner (way back) while I try to nurse him back to health.

Kaye, my heart truly goes out to you and your hubby. I cannot imagine dealing with everything at the same. Hopefully you'll start feeling better soon my friend. Watching your hubby so close has to be exhausting just by itself without dealing with latter end of chemo.

I hope soon things calm down for you. What's the prognosis for your husband? Is he healing well?

Take care my friend,

Your story is heartbreaking, and inspiring at the same time.
Please know that Mimi-Warrior and I are thinking of you and have you & hubby in our prayers. I have often thought that, if I live through this, that I will someday show Connie that she did the right thing by sticking with me through this and being the earthly rock that I can cling to. Someday she may be ill, and I will be by her side every step of the way.

Your hubby, I'm sure, wants that also. Thank you for your bravery and your determination. Your times are not easy times, but can certainly result in the best times of your lives together when you both get through this.

My hat's off to both of you, and my very best wishes for calm and restoration.

My heart goes out to you. You have so much to handle! Are there services, churches, etc that can help you out?

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband,

Kaye - I join the others in saying how sorry I am about your husband. What a lot to handle as you wait today to find out CT results and if you need 2 more treatments. Will be anxious to hear your results - let us know when you can.

I hope an angel is sitting on your shoulder to guide you and that you have good friends to surround and help you at this most difficult time. My prayers are with you - Fran
