CARING BRIDGE UPDATE FROM BONNIE

Thought I would share this with all of you. As always, we're thinking of you, Bonnie, and extending lots of hugs and prayers!

Just a quick update ~ notice I didn't say brief. Heheheheehe!

The nurse was out and drew labs, figured my platelets were low they are five now. Anyway tomorrow Josh is taking me to get platelets; while I am there my internist is going to visit me and look at my leg. I have been taking percocet all day so leg feels better but it sure made the tears flow more.

The social worker came after the nurse, and one of her main concerns was how much time I am home alone. Then walla a few day time calls, and two suprised visits. One was my good friend Von who popped out on her break and the other was two friends from Milaca that I haven't seen for years. I just smiled as the Lord sent this company to me and can't wait to tell Gwen my social worker.

Also my sister called while the nurse was here and said she had seen Chaplin Dale, who was my mom's hospice chaplin, and he said to tell me to make sure I request a chaplin visit as he is the chaplin that comes here too. Yup God is good!!

Tomorrow I plan on going in Sandstone FCI for Charis Ministry. I have not been able to go for months because everytime it is our Tuesday I am sick or else it has been cancelled. I sure miss everyone and am going no water what. The social worker .agreed it is good for my spirit. :-) I may be limping and a little cloudy from pain meds but I will be there.

Labs again on thursday, probably platelets on friday morning and then finally the hemotologist appt Friday at 4pm.

Not sure if I'll be back before then, if not Have a Safe and Fun Labor Day Weekend!!
