First , let me say that my mother is of sound mind, is 75 and weighs about 90 lbs now and has rectal cancer and is taking radiation and chemo.

This weekend I took my sweet little mother for an outing. She loves to embroider by hand so I suggested we take off to Hobby Lobby for her some materials. Something to help keep her occupied during the days. This is one of the first times she has felt like going out somewhere other than the doctor since she had her heart attack July 8th.

Ok, so we get to Hobby Lobby and I walk her back to the sewing section. We peruse the kits and she finds a kit with 2 pillowcases to do. She was already getting tired so we head back to the front of the store to check out. We are walking through the basket section and I had to let go of her arm for a few seconds to get through. I stop and look back to see where my sweet little mother is and guess what I see? There is my Mom with her pants undone, jeans, completely unzipped and her pretty white Granny panties showing, right hand down her pants pulling and tugging her panties out of her rear. I say to her "Mother, what are you doing?!" She says "you gotta do whatcha gotta do..." I crack up. I say to her "Mom you can't do that right in the middle of the store!" Her answer to that is "I looked around and nobody was looking." Me.."Yes but they have cameras!!" Mom.."Oh, I didn't think about that."

So I get her dressed and as we pass the card aisle, I mention to her that I need to stop and pick up some "thank you" cards to send to our friends who have been so good to us. I am standing there looking quickly at the cards and I imagine now that there was this amazingly thick green cloud that came up a surrounded my head. I look over at my sweet little Mother and I say "Mom do you need to go to the bathroom"...she says to me "No not now...I just have gas...I'll move on down the aisle away from you." Me..."No way...you're not leaving me here with that for somebody to think I did it!!"

It was so much fun and a day I will never forget. Makes me laugh even now.
