I have a lot of pain in my hands, arms, shoulders and heels of my feet. The law suits on Levaquin have me thinking if they are related. I took a lot of Levaquin after my surgeries. Anyone else? I'm not sure how we would differentiate the effects of Levaquin and Chemo after effects.

    they had me sign documents
    Nana darlin,

When I started on my journey, each step of the way they had me sign documents that basically said they could kill me if they wanted to. I still think they tried to with that damned chemo/rad.

In order for the folks that will follow us in a few years, we have to be somewhat the lab rats for them. I hope to hell that they will learn any small thing from me so my grandkids don’t ever have to go thru this crap.

The other side of the coin is the lawyers make out like bandits and don’t even bother wearing a damn mask. We get screwed and the cost just keep going up because of it.

When I do croak down the road, I am going to do everything I can to come back to haunt every medical lawyer I can find and aggravate the hell out of them.

    I agree with you, Kerry.
I agree with you, Kerry. Every drug has its side effects and with the new ones out there, no one willl know for sure if it will work or not or who will have the side effects. sometimes you have to see for your self if the outcome is worth more to you if you take the drug. Pros and cons of life. I too believe that all these medical lawyers are just ambulance chasers in a way, they see too many have had bad side effects and whoa, they see dollar signs. They make the commercials look like it is the victim that makes out, but in the end it is them. The rich keep getting richer. Take care & God Bless. Margaret

    Lawyers

    On the other hand.......

Companies like Merck, etc, knowingly produce drugs that maim and/or kill,
and go scot-free, thanks to their "risk management" department that is willing
to spend 10 million to fight a case worth less than 5 million, just to stop the
injured parties from being reimbursed for the damages suffered.

My wife's ruptured cerebral aneurysm was directly related to the Vioxx
she had used for years. Since she is alive, the amount she suffered and
the years she lost in therapy, isn't worth enough to attempt fighting
Merck, since no claim worth less than 10 million will ever make it to court.

I guess one has to suffer injuries from a big corporation, to understand
their lack of conscience and moral obligation.

Lawyers are despised until they're needed. Try to collect from a big
corporation, or insurance company without one.
