    Thank you for asking Greg-I have been out of touch with this support network for a few days.

    My wife’s funeral was yesterday. I was totally amazed at the outpouring of support and love, there were thoughts shared from the congregation about my wife that brought tears to my eyes. It was affirming and the love I felt was overwhelming.

    I am holding up okay. I can’t say days are easy; it’s only been one week. So far, I can only describe life as “Different.” I keep thinking I need to check on Esther. Tonight, just as I was ready to fall asleep, I thought I heard her voice asking for me, like she did for so many months. I am sure it is my brain still wired to listen for her voice and it will take awhile.

    Thank you all for your amazing support. I am hanging in, there are times I feel good, and then out of the blue I start to sob. I expect that-I know its okay.
