Good Morning Everyone,
Just wanted to tell everyone that just because I am okay right now, does not mean that I am not still reading the posts and praying for everyone. I have been NED for almost 14 monthes. DX'ed May of 2009. Stage 2B. I hate it when everyone goes away just because they are okay right now. I, we, need to hear all the success stories. It gives me, us, much, much hope. I ask god last summer to please give me at least this summer to enjoy myself and he did. I went to the beach for a week and frolicked in the ocean like a small child. I was laughing and screaming and everyone thought I was crazy, but I just screamed "I'm alive and healthy". Then I swam 25 laps in the pool and laughed and yelled to my husband "see what I can do now". I walked miles and miles on the beach and did'nt even take a nap for a whole week. I even stopped taking my "do not cry pill". I plan on continuing to run around the rest of the summer and do everything I can find to do. I am even going back to the beach. Does anyone have a half a million dollars that they can let me barrow to buy an oceanfront condo? Just kidding, well not really. So, I guess my point is, that if I get sick again, I will reflect on this summer and just smile. I will be okay with it. I continue to run around and educate every person I see on the symptoms of ovarian cancer. That includes the hotel clerk at the front desk, the nurses at the hospital that I volunteer at, people in the elevator, and anyone that will listen to me. I will be checking in from time to time. I will never forget the help and support I recieved from this discussion board and I might need you again in the future. Thank-You, Paula

It is so good to hear that
It is so good to hear that all is well with you.

Your story certainly put a smile on my face because I feel like everyday should always be a day of new discoveries, happiness, gratefulness not to be wasted on negative trivialities.

    Please do keep in touch.

    Sharon,
you are right on. All of us that are well right now, should be living it up. I am so full of joy. My heart is busting. I think that makes a re-occurance alittle easier to handle. We have to live now. Thank-You, Luv You, Paula

    You go girl!
    Paula,

Yes, enjoy life to the fullest!! While I was taking "a break" from chemo April-June we went to the beach, went on a bike trip and I have watered skied.

We want to hear success stories and celebrations of life. I am so glad you are celebrating!

Thank you for sharing and please continue,
    Libby
