Tips concerning prosthetic bras

I bought 4 prosthetic bras when I originally got my prosthesis in March. Since then, I have realized they just are very uncomfortable to me so today I came up with a new idea. I have really been missing my body by victoria bras from Victoria Secret. So I got an idea to put my prosthesis in a knee hi stocking and stick it in my Victoria Secret bra. I wore it all day long and was soooo much more comfortable and it never slipped out.

I have only been able to wear my prosthetic bra for maybe 2 days in a row before I had to switch to camisoles and breast forms for the next 2 days.

Just thought I would throw that out there for anyone else who may be having the same problems. Be blessed.

    I am going next week to get mine. I think the prices on the bras are ridiculous and my MOm has said get the regular bras I like and she will sew a pocket in them for me.

    Lorrie thanks for the tips. I'm still wearing the compression bra at home. When I go out I wear my camisole with the cotton breast inserts. I always feel like people can tell I'm wearing fake boobs even though my daughter said it looked very natural. I think going from 40DD sagging breasts to perky cotton ones is a big change. lol I see my surgeon next week and plan on getting a script for 2 mastectomy bras and prostheses. I'm not sure when I'll get them since my steri strips are still hanging on. Only 3 of 60 have fallen off.....
