My wife and I are new to this site but found it VERY insperational and helpful. We have a "bizarre" situation (so say the docs). My mother-in-law, Vicki, was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarion cancer in February. She had 4 round of chemo since and just recently had to stop it - the cancer spread "officially" into the lining of her lungs. So the awful part is they cannot proceed with ANY surgery because on top of the cancer, she simultaneously developed blod clots ALL over her body! One reaching from the toes of her left foot all the way up to her heart. They "busted" the clot out and it came right back. She now has started another diferent chemo treatment to primarily tackle the lung since it is reaking SO MUCH HAVOK! Well, since she hs the clots the docs REFUSE to do any kind of suregery (for obvious reasons). She has had a REALLY rough couple months. Her docs are awesome! They have been VERY supportive and helpful. They did not have a conversation with her about her life expectancy at all! They just told her to fight and not loose the spirit that she has. We are a GOD FEARING people. My wife and I are Assistant Pastors and we have been able to call on SO MANY believers to lift Vicki up. It has truly been amazing. No matter what, no matter what happens...GOD IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE GOOD! His ways are perfect!

I WILL, LIFT ALL OF YOU UP IN PRAYER!
Welcome to the site. I cannot offer any personal experience with your MIL's situation, but I know that you will get many responses on this. In the meantime, I am so happy to hear that you are trusting in the Lord for all things. How wonderful that we can come together in agreement for your MIL and the family as well.

May He bless all of you with the 'peace that passes all understanding'. And may He continue to work through the physicians and medical staff to be the best support and aide to Vicki during this difficult time. HE IS THE GREAT PHYSICIAN!

    God bless you!
