edited March 2014 in Ovarian Cancer #1
My sweet, beautiful daughter has been told by the cancer specialst that her scan looks like cancer. There were masses aon both her overies, and all over her abdomnal area and a large mass by her colon. If it is cancer it is at least level III. She is having cancer surgery this Thursday, July 8th, which also happens to be her birthday, she will be 38. I would like to hear some success stories of those who have or have had late turm ovarian cancer. Also, Please pray for Angela, especially on July 8th. She has been married to her husband for 19 years ( very happily married) and has three children ages 11, 8 and 2. The hardest part for her is the thought of not being there for her children.

MY PRAYERS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
I will certainly be praying for Angela, her husband and children, and you. Does Angela have a gynecologic/oncologist? They are the best when it comes to the surgery and assessing the situation. I know this is devastating news for all of you, but there are plenty of encouraging, inspiring and hopeful stories here. These are all brave women who have beaten the odds and continue to do so.

Please keep us informed. I send my prayers and hugs for strength.

    sorry to hear about your
sorry to hear about your daughter. Its awful to have to see a family member go through cancer. There is hope though. I was diagnosed may of 2009, stage 4b ovarian cancer and i'm free of cancer now. So if there is any words of advice to give, its never give up.

I will keep your daughter in my prayers and her husband and children. The treatments for cancer these days are so much better then the past so please hang on to hope every day to see her and her family through this.

my thoughts and prayers go out to you
