with RADS!!!! Hopefully I'll never see the inside of that oven again! and for those of you in the middle/just beginning/or almost done I have to say that after my last crybaby post I have healed significantly. Probably only about 1 week of OUCHIES! With the last 5 treatments being focused on the scar area the rest of the treatment area has begun to heal.
It still LOOKS BURNED! but doesn't hurt to touch any more. so, it's DOABLE! If I can do it anyone can! God bless all of you for being with me throughout the whole baking process.

    So, what do you get as a recent grad? New car? Trip to Europe?

    Only halfway done, but I can see that just being DONE will be the reward.

    At least they didn't poke you with a fork!
    although it feels like it sometimes, doesn't it?

    So glad to hear the healing has begun, and yes (at least for me) finishing IS the reward!

    Hey Mama G, Congrats, you made it. Now you just need to heal up, get some rest, and then party. Its been a long time and you deserve to celebrate in a big way. We'll celebrate with you. Just let us know where the party is and when.

    Huge accomplishment, not easy. Glad you're done, and already beginning to heal. For the majority of us - that's how it goes. Healing seems to happen quickly once the treatments end.

    Continue to take good care of yourself, to help your body along.

    congratualtions, here's hoping your year improves from here on out. I just got a bill each rad session is 6k hmmmm 6kx33 thats alot of money!!!! I call it my expensive tanning session, very exclusive busy place I go. only certain people allowed in. I am right behind you mama G. is it rather anticlimatic now??? after fighting for so long?

    I'm out of the oven, too (2 1/2 months ago), but when does the pain go away? The open areas healed but I still hurt and can't wear a bra. I guess it's different for everyone. Does anyone know of a good place to get cotton camisoles? Looks like I'll need them for awhile.

    Carkis, so far not anticlimatic at all, just joyful! I'm ready to move on to the new normal and get on with my life! I just found out that I'll be taking Arimidex for 5 years.

    Hey I'm with you Mama. I just finished too. It's like a heavy sight of releif. Want to get movin' movin' movin - but my raw hide gets in the way. Soon though - it will be a bra, and no more walking with my hands held piously in front of my breasts. Here's to the new normal!
