Well he spent the easter in the hospital and as he says his holiday home. So far he has spent every holiday in the hospital since the DX in November. Well he is still having issues breathing, they have his O2 on 10. He is getting breathing treatments every 2 hrs. The weezing his getting better. He is on 3 different Antibotics. The third one is helping. Which is the strongest they said. They did a culture of the fluid and they said its ecoli. Which is hardest to fight. Because its suppose to stay in the GI track not in the lung. Last nite they told us they wanted to tube him to rest his body. But they wanted to check his blood gases, the results came back good. So they didnt need to tube him, they said he NEEDED to just relax and since he is used to fighting to breath he now needs to relax.

so after they clear up this infection they will then address the Acid issues and Because they are saying he aspirated and that is what caused that. and he is one zantac, pepcid and now pilosac as well for the acid issues and its still not working, we are thinking of reglan now.

So now today they are going to have him go for a CT scan to take a better look at that lung.
All I know is I WANT HIM BETTER and we fought this long and hard.

GOOD NEWS NOW!!!
He has had 4 rounds of chemo and 4 months of the xeloda continously. and from his scan the dr decided he is DONE WITH CHEMO and no radition either!!! They said you can only radate that area once and if it grows back you cant radiate again. So they would prefer not to do it!!! I think that is GREAT NEWS!!! He said he is CANCER FREE AND HE DID BEAT IT!!! So now we just have to get thur this!!!

Prayers needed please and thanks for listening!

God bless
Tina
