Taxotere & Ice?

Today during my treatment, the nurse came over & asked me if I wanted to hold a large ice-pack? She said that they are doing a study. Some say it has helped them with the tingling in their fingers & their nails. I thought it sounded crazy, but hey, if it works....I'm all for it. I never had trouble with my nails thankfully,(YET) but did previously have the numbness & tingling. Has anyone else ever heard of this or done it & found that it helped?
