up date on Laurissa,s surgery

Laurissa had surgery tues.morning.I was getting worried, it lasted longer then they said.Dr.told us the size of a grapefruit was taken out,he feels he got it all. They kept her over night, she had a bad reaction to pain meds. throwing up ,and bad headaches.She was releast today (wed.)afternoon. I will stop by to see her tomorrow, and bring her some soup from The Bread Factory.Hope she feels like lunch,and a short visit with her sister.She is such a trooper, never complains.I will keep you informed,I,m sure she will be back on here soon,I just wanted to tell all of you how wonderfully kind and caring you all are.Thank you for your prayers and kindness, One more hardle she,s crossed,now on to rads.Hope that goes well for her.

    I've beent thinking about Laurissa, and am glad to hear the report that they got it all and that she's home resting now. I'm sure she will be glad to see you, soup or no soup. You're a dear sister to take such good care of her.

    Let her know that we are all still with her while she recuperates and look forward to hearing from her whenever she's up to it.

    I'm a little confused, though. I thought Laurissa posted that the chemo shrunk her tumors and they didn't see anything there. Did I miss a post after that?

    I've been wondering too how
    I've been wondering too how Laurissa's surgery went and glad its over with. She has a wonderful gift in you and she can't help from getting better and stronger with you there with her. Tell her we love her, miss her and hope to hear when she feels like posting. Now she will soon be sprinting toward the finish line.
