who helped me through my first mammogram. I went this past Thursday. I had a unilateral mast. last April and this was my first real mammogram since. The tech was very nice and gave me her direct #, telling me I could call her on this coming Wed for the results. That's the soonest they would be ready. She said unless something seemed strange with the surgery side, nothing is done. (my insurance in Kaiser)
So, now just the wait.
Thanks again for your caring - I felt you all there with me and I wasn't afraid. I'll be sure and let you know what I find out on Wed.

    You got thru the first part - the actual mamo. I know it's hard to have to wait around for the results. I just got done with my second mamo after the dx two years ago. I also had mine on a Thursday and got the good news letter the following Tuesday. I wonder why those of us that have had the bc dx, can't get a phone call the next day when the radiologist sees the mamo. Or better yet, the same day. I'll be hoping that you have the same good news I did. Hang in there!
