Hello Everyone,
I live in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. 1 hour from Baltimore and 1 1/2 from Washington D.C. We are in a very serious situation here. It has been snowing since yesterday morning. We have 40 plus inches of snow and it is not going to stop snowing until tonight. The weather people don't even know how much snow we are going to get. The snow plows are stuck, people are without power, and some people's roofs on their houses are collapsing. I was shoveling snow and the funny thing was, I was thanking god the I was healthy enough to shovel the snow. Any more snow report totals out there? Paula

    1 Hour North Of Baltimore
We have 30 inches of snow on the ground! It stopped snowing 1 hour ago and the sun poked thru the clouds for a few moments. I am thinking how marvelous it looks. I hope everyone is safe. I have always loved the snow and enjoy playing with my daughter, dogs and horses. This year I am too tired recovering from chemo. I got tired getting suited up to go outside. But, I am thankful to be here to witness such beauty. I will admit, I am not missing the shoveling part;)

My son and his family live in Maryland and they have serious snow there also. We're hoping that the power stays on! Stay safe and warm.

    Beautiful downtown Anchorage..errr Baltimore
Living smack in the middle of it. It is beautiful and I have a wonderful view from my window. However, my surgery (hysterectomy, debulking) is supposed to be Wednesday morning. I've waited 4 weeks now, and I really don't want it to be delayed any longer!

Hurry up and melt snow and please, oh please let the Tuesday snow miss us!

    Hello,
Well it has finally stopped snowing. Right before it got dark, the sun came out and the sky was pink. It was a beautiful sight. I do however have a broken back from shoveling snow. I had to help my poor husband as he could not do it all himself. I hope my body will move in the morning. I do not want to see anymore snow for a long time. It will probably be spring before this melts, unless of course it snows again later in the week. I hope not!!!! Paula

I have prayed very hard that it does not snow again on Tuesday. I have prayed very, very hard. I hope all goes well with your surgery on Wednesday. Don't worry, when you wake up, you will have a morphine clicker and the only thing that will be working is your thumb. You will be feeling wonderful and not in any pain. Morphine is a wonderful drug. Let us know as soon as you can, how you are doing. Good Luck, Paula
