I finished my 34th radiation treatment this morning, just in time for Christmas. I am so happy and lucky to have gotten through my treatments, chemo and radiation, with minimal side effects. I feel very happy to be through, but it's bittersweet at the sane time. I'm not going to go there, instead I'll just enjoy being through this portion of my treatment. I do still have the 5-year pill to get through. One step at a time. That has been my motto through this entire process. To those of you just starting or perhaps almost done, please know that there is an end. Take each day individually and you too will accomplish OUR mutual goal.....to finally be dancing with NED. I'm not there yet but I think I'll get my shoes ready, that dance is hopefully just around the corner. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

    Congrats!!
    I just finished mine on the 23rd! It is a wonderful feeling to know that you were able to accomplish everything needed to become healthy. I wish you a healthy, happy 2010!!

    I thought I heard holiday
    I thought I heard holiday music this morning... the sweet tinkling of bells and violins.
    It sounded so beautiful, reminiscent of something, yet not quite a seasonal favorite. I sat quietly and listened a bit longer and then I knew what it was!!! It was the song NED requested for you to dance to! He is waiting patiently while you re-sole your shoes and brush up on your dance steps!

    Congratulations~ it really is YourTurnNow to celebrate the end of one thing and the beginning of another....

    Just want to tell you to
    please continue using your creams as you are still cooking from rads. I did for a couple of weeks and my skin is beautiful. And, still be gentle with it too. Just wanted to be sure you knew this. lol

    So Glad that you are done with rads and that your treatments have been going well. Yes, one day at a time works. It is so easy to overthink and project so far ahead. Enjoy each day. Keep using the lotions, rest and reenergize and again congrats.
