edited March 2014 in Breast Cancer #1
I responded via email to eameier who said she is doing research into depression in breast cancer survivors. But now I don't see her topic here anymore. I'm all for participating in research (although my passion is to find the cause of bc). Did someone think her post was a problem? If so, why?

    According to the "Terms and
According to the "Terms and Conditions" of CSN, these boards may not be used to solicit participants for any research projects. Those who wish to advertise their projects are encouraged to contact ACS itself, and they will be directed how to do so. If you scroll to the bottom of the homepage, you will be able to click on the Terms and Conditions and see just what is and is not allowed by the ACS.

    Hope this helps!

    That is exactly why~
That is exactly why~ potential abuse. Not that there was anything wrong with that particular poster, or that her motives aren't 100% above board, it just has to be the way we were back in the 2nd grade. Namely, if one kid acts up we ALL have to stay in during recess! LOL It is a safeguard for all of us, and no doubt one less headache for the ACS!

It is against the terms here
It is against the terms here and could be who knows what. That is what Lex was warning everyone about. You email them and they send you back a virus.

WOW! So that was what Lex
WOW! So that was what Lex was warning about. I saw her post but didn't know what she was talking about. Thanks to all of you who are watching out for us. Makes me feel better knowing someone is on guard duty. Didn't understand the guidelines either. Thanks again.
