Cured in Mexico?

Reading the original post and then seeing Jennie and Rachel's replies below it freaked me out! I didn't recognize Jennie right away, but I was like, "That looks like...wait a minute!" Then I saw the dates. I don't know if it's a good thing or bad thing that these old posts can be brought up, but they sure are heartbreaking.

Trubrit, it was my understanding that Rachel was all prepared to go to the Gerson clinic in Mexico when her doctors talked her into trying one last trial. She died about a month after that. Did she change her mind again? Gerson has a 90% cure rate, but the program has to be followed strictly for two years to guarantee success. The fact that it's 90% juicing would make following it very difficult for a lot of people.

Oh, geez. I just realized the original post was from John Nimmons who is also gone. I didn't remember his user name. I know he never got to Mexico. I hope it wasn't the expense that kept him from doing it. This is such a sad thread.

Rachel was in Mexico/Gerson for pretty much her last month. She got very sick there, but seemed to be a peace or at least, putting on the braveest of faces.

That breaks my heart. She was so strong, and just an amazing person.

I've heard such wonderful things about Gerson over the years, though I've only personally known two people who went there and had total success with it. I also know that some of their methods (coffee enemas) can get tricky or dangerous if a person's ever had chemo.

I hope Rachel's resting peacefully, but checking in on us from time to time. She has the other two people on this original thread up there with her so they're probably laughing their butts off at us right now!

As long as they have customers I guess there's no point. It's easy to skew numbers, too, so your idea is probably right on.  And people are funny. They might think that because it's so expensive it must be worth it. I recently sold something I'd had for sale for some time because I raised the price. It's all about putting value on something, I think.
