I'm a CHEMO GRAD as of today!!!

That's right! I graduated from my chemo program, with honors. I am assuming I was in the honors program since the entire center came to my cube to sing the "graduation song" for me. I got the whole thing on video because honestly who is going to believe that?! So now I will meet with the radiation department in two weeks (need time to heal) and get that consult over, then the initial line-up, then start radiation at the end of the month. I'm so excited to be moving on.

Oh - one problem. My potassium was at a critical level (high) so they retook my blood and are sending me to a specialist. But I'm through with chemo.

Other chemo chicks and VickiSam, our QUEEN: Hang in there! You will get through your regimen and post your graduation announcement on these boards too. Just stay strong and fight the good fight. You are amazing and you can get through this!

    Congratulations, Pitt!! Isn't it just a wonderful feeling? I remember very well the day I graduated...that was only a little over a month ago. I'm so happy for you. You've had some roadblocks along with way but got through them with grace. Way to go!!

    what a relief to be able to say you are finished with chemo! We all think it will never end, but you are proof it does. So glad you have finished this huge step!

    It must feel very good!!! YAY! DANCE! On to rads...and your hair will start to grow back now, right?? Yay! I just buzzed mine today..six chemo left. But I will get there, yes I will, following right behind you Pitt!
