out of the loop

I feel so disoriented. I have been out of the loop for the last few weeks. Firstly, because my internet has not been working. Then life kicked in big time. The list is endless. A few highlights. My dad went in for an angiogram and ending up in the hospital all last week and getting a triple bypass yesterday, no previous history of any heart trouble. My aunt who was diagnosed with lung cancer less than a month ago passed away on the same day as my dads angiogram and she was not buried until today. So I feel like I have been away from all of you forever. I am so sorry if I missed out on being supportive or congratulating all of the victories. Please someone update me!

The only two wonderful highlights, my beautiful ornament came the day of my dad's angiogram. It was there waiting for me at home when I got back from a 6 am to 9 pm day of getting dad settled at the hospital and mom home. It was perfect!!! And yesterday after dad's surgery and an even longer day....a card came from Chen, how great you are Chenheart.

But for the record, my prayers remained with you all. As they do now.

    Always, glad you're back but sorry to hear all the sad news. Hope your Dad does well and hope you are holding up during this time. It is hard to catch up when you've been away. Again , glad you're back.

    Out of the loop indeed! So odd, all of it, isn't it? One would think that going through BC would be enough on our plates, but other peoples lives have a way of intersecting with ours at the most inopportune time! I am especially saddened by the news of your Aunt's passing~my heart is with all of you. I trust your dad came through just fine and is soon on his way to a healthy heart full of love and a long,long life! We really NEED the internet at these times~ how dare it not be working!

    I am glad that at the very least, your ornament and card arrived to let you know how important you are to your sisters here on the boards. Because you "always" are!

    I was wondering why you were so quiet. I'm so sorry about the news of your Dad & Aunt. You sure have had quite the storm. And here you are worried about us and what you have missed bless your heart! There's been so much going on lately it takes me a while to get caught up. My prayers are with you & your family and please keep us updated on your Dad.

    Keeping you in
    my thoughts and prayers - so sorry about your Aunt. My Dad has similar surgery almost 10 years ago when he was 79 - he never had any indication of heart trouble either. He's still alive and kicking at 88!

It seems that Chen's ornament exchange is a big hit and most all of the ornaments have arrived at the best of times for the receiver. I will keep your Dad in my prayers as well as you and my condolences regarding your aunt.

I will keep him in my prayers to recover quickly. And, I will put you in my prayers too. I think we need to hold you up for a little while until you can catch your breath.

    So glad that your ornament and Chen's card was waiting for you and cheered you up. I didn't get any :( I am in the Government Witness Protection Program and cannot disclose my location. I know..bummer

    You've had a tough time. I pray that you keep the strength you need as you take care of your parents and mourn the loss of your aunt. Remember to take some quiet time for you so you don't stress yourself out.
