Dear Beth,
I went to google and typed in chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy..Then looked through most of them..It is very interesting I mean I knew about the tingeling, the effects of the cold but I didn't know it could be this painful..I am in pain all the time.I also didn't realize that the neuropathy can effect my balance too among alot of other things..I also found out that the pain can go up your legs too which it is with me..Hope this helps you too.Good luck JULIE

    Thanks Julie
I too never thought it could cause pain, but I have been in so much pain in my lower back and it shoots down my leg. Wendy thinks it might be a pinched nerve, but ever since chemo I have had this problem and its getting worse. I had some lower back problems before DX so not really sure what it is. I get the creepy tingelings all the time down my right leg, drives me nuttso. Alot of people ask me if something is wrong and I say no and ask then why, and they say its because I am limping but its that I dont have total control of my right leg, it goes numb alot and I guess it kind of drags when I walk which I guess gives an impression that I am limping. WEll anyway thought maybe I could look it up and see if it is because of neuropathy. Not that I can do anything about it, I am seeing a pain doc today to get some shots in my back to help with the pain. I am so tired of taking pain pills. Thanks for the info.

    Love
    Beth
