Hey All

Man.... I have been put thru the wringer with testing. My face is a bruised up mess from falling out of bed and hitting the floor.... everyone says the husband did a number on me and blamed the floor..LOL. They FINALLY found out what was wrong. Evidentally I must have taken 1000mg of Depakote too much. My liver amonia count was at 155 when it should be 35-55. The diahhrea was causing over stimulation... which made me lathargic.... which made me confused on taking meds... which made me OD.... WOW...say that twice. I was worried it went to my brain...NO.... then I was worried that whatever it was would prevent me from taking my last treatment Monday. This is a biggy. It will tell me if I am a lung surgery candidate or if I just need a few more treatments. If surgery... then I could lay off chemo for a while...we will see. Thank you all for your well wishes and concern

Jennie

    Jennie,
I'm glad they found out what happened. Scary! Depakote is a serious drug. Our daughter was on it for seizures.
Hope all goes well for Monday.

    Take care.

    Aloha,
    Kathleen

    Get Well Soon
Glad they found out what it was and they are treating you for it. Wow that has to be so scary not knowing or remembering anything that happened. You are luckly that they didn't OD and you got to the hospital in time. Geez falling out of bed - you poor thing. I feel so bad for you - you have had a rough week. Hopefully you will be able to continue your treatment and get your surgery. Hurry back home very soon. Glad you are feeling better.

I've been wondering how things were going. I truly wish you the best of luck with the lung issue. I hope you become a surgical candidate and that they are able to clean you out. Good luck!
