Thank you for your kind and comforting words. As you say only time will help. We have decided to move next month. Any tips for living in Florida??
I hope this will help us all to change our environment and maybe help me a little bit.
Many prayers for you all.
Liz

    For You
Liz, after my Mom died, I searched and searched to find a place to live in the same meighborhood we had lived in for 33 years. I came up with nothing. I then started looking everywhere else. I ended up moving 16 miles outside the city I lived in all my life to a small town. The people are very welcoming, and I had none of the old memories every time I turned around. I think God knew that I would never be able to move on with my life if I stayed in my old beighborhood. I now have the strength to begin looking to move to any part of the country where I can have a job if need be. If I am meant to stay here I will, if I am meant to move, I will.

I have no info on Florida, I know someone else will. I just wanted to congratulate you on the move and on your new beginnings. It will be hard at first. But you will create a very different kind of life. You will make new memories and not be surrounded bu so many tears every time you turn around. Thanks for posting. I wish you all the best. Hugs, Cindy

    Unemployment Rate
You might check on the unemployment rate of states you are interested in moving to. That would indicate jobs available. Some states are more depressed than others in our economic situation at this time.

    florida
    Liz,
    Florida tips:

    1. Don't live in central florida. Too steamy hot with no breezes in the summer. Find a coastal town.
    2. Watch out for bugs. An apartment that sprays for bugs once a month is nice.
    3. Don't sit on the grass. Fire ants will get you.
    4. Don't let your little doggie go swimming in the local pond. Gators are opportunists, but they avoid people so you can swim usually.

That's all I can think of right now.
