So, I know I have been remiss about pictures...but here are some from my weekend. Today is Sunday, and it's a stay at home day. Tomorrow we go again, but today is washing, and cooking (we are eating roast tonight).

The sun doesn't stay up as long anymore, and the nights have a chill to them. I truly am envious of you all that get to see the seasons change...this is SO dramatic! In California, we have very hot, sortof hot, and warm. Our Winter days are clear (mostly), and to get to snow, we much drive an hour to the mountains. But, I know I am blessed. With good health, 2 places to call home, and all of you 'extended family', as well as everyone here and in America.

I sometimes feel a bit guilty, knowing what you are going thru now, but then, remember, I went thru it, too. It DOES get better!!!!

Hugs, Kathi

    enjoy your vacation!
Kathi, have a wonderful "rest of the trip", and do NOT feel guilty about enjoying yourself. You have been there, done that, and deserve every moment of your vacation.
We will be glad to have you back, but please continue to have a good time and continue to post those pics!
    Miss you

    Sunday is beef stew night
Sunday is beef stew night for us. I make it in the crock pot so it's almost like not cooking.
Some people say we don't have changing of the seasons here in south Texas but you can see signs of it if you look.

    Hi Kathi
Anytime you get a vacaction you go for it...

If you really want to see the change of seasons, Wisconsin is where you want to go..We have the most beautiful falls esp up in Door county where green bay is.

I have 3 more rounds of chemo to go and it is so nice to know that there are people out there who finish and who go on with their lives. You show me that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Take care...maybe I will get to see California one day

    Hugs

    I just read your comment

I just read your comment about California weather, and had to tell you that we were in Labrador City, Canada, this week and there was snow on Thurday morning, August 27th. We're from Syracuse, NY, which averages the most snow of any city in the US, but we just couldn't believe waking up to the white stuff in August!

Your travels are very encouraging to those currently in treatment, that there is a new life as a survivor.
