The procedure went smoothly and was hardly painful. Took about 30 min. but I was at the hospital for 6 hours with all of the intake, waiting, and recovery time. I will not get the lab results for a couple of days but did learn that the "mass" is solid and about 5 cm on the sigmoid colon. It was not there on May 15 CT scan after the diverticulitis and could be a structure that my body built up to protect against the irritation of that, sort of like scar tissue. LOL

Hugs and prayers back to you Saundra. I hope it is only the scar tissue you mentioned it may be. I know how hard the wait is for results, but we'll all be hoping for the best... Jane

    Dearest Saundra,

Saying lots of prayers for you and also hoping it is just a mass for protection.

But want you to know (if it isn't) I have had a tumor about the same size on my colon for lots of years now ~ it has never gone away ~ but I am still here just plugging along. It is amazing how we can live with cancer in our body but we can. Anyway waiting in prayer with you for the results. Hugs Bonnie

I'm glad to read that your biopsy didn't cause much pain! I'll pray that your mass is the "sort of scar tissue"!

The connection in time to the issue with your diverticulitis sounds encouraging, I think.
Here's hoping too!!!! Luv and prayers, MM
