    Sorry Julie
I'm sorry, Julie. I don't know the symptoms, but you should have anything unusual checked out. Could be hemorrhoids, though. But let a professional make that determination.

    Anal canzer
    Julie,

Anal canzer is what Farrah Fawcett had and it's very rare. It isn't really related to colorectal canzer at all and the treatment is very different. That being said, all of the current colon canzer treatments have failed for me and the best results I've had is with Mitomycin C which is for anal canzer. Go figure. The following was found on the ACS website. www.cancer.org.

"People who have symptoms of anal cancer may notice one or more of the following:

Bleeding or itching around the anus
    Pain in the anal area
Change in the width of the stool, stool may be narrower than usual
Swollen lymph nodes in the anal or groin area
    Abnormal discharge from the anus

These symptoms can also be caused by something other than cancer, but only your doctor can tell for sure. Talk to your doctor right away if you notice any of these problems."

    Symptoms
Mine came on so fast, but the symptoms were... Pressure like I needed to have a bowel movement, bleeding, felt almost like a hemroid, pain, I don't remember any discharge other then the bleeding. I basically just didn't feel like something was right.

Hang in there and let us know what you find out.
