Just wanted to let my girls know that I came home yesterday from the hospital. I was able to take Darvocet for the pain along with Valium. So the pain is controlled. They told me I could have stayed if I wanted to. But I thought, if I'm handling the pain with oral meds and everything looks good why shouldn't I go home? At least there I'm not woken up every 2 hours for my vitals to be checked, and I can got some good tasting food :) I feel well rested but still have pain. I just wanted to let you's know that I'm alive and kicking and will post more later this week. When I take the pain pills they knock me out.

Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers, I really appreciate them. I love each and everyone of you.

Love,
Sherry

    I thought the same thing
I thought the same thing about getting home as soon as I could. But the hospital I went to had cardboard eggs for breakfast and I'm not picky. I couldn't believe I finally found something I didn't like! Glad you are doing fine.

Glad to know your surgery went well, and that the pain meds are doing their job. Your surgery was a great big first step along your journey - it's good to have it behind you now.

"The Wizard of Oz" is my favorite movie of all time. So, I can totally relate to how you feel, because...

    There's no place like home.

Take good care of yourself. Lots of rest will aid in healing. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, without complications.

    Kind regards, Susan

If you need tips on resting up, I am the go to person!! I have even thought out my future plans on milking it!! Heck, I plan on getting taken care of for a long, long time.....I'm loving the attention!! Besides, My family already expects I will attempt this and have resorted to planning on it anyway (he, he). Glad your back home. :) Pammy

I don't think I would EVER have recovered in hospital. No Peace, Rest, Decent food, Internet, Ciggies or Beer! How is anyone supposed to get better under those sort of circumstances? LOL

    Hi Sherry,
I am so glad that you feel good enough to go home. Yeah!!I am doing my happy chair dance with my hot, pink, feather boa. I hope you feel better with every day that goes by. The hospital is a terrible place to try to get any rest. You are still in my thoughts and prayers.

    Love and gentle hugs,
