question for BonnieR

Bonnie I was on here last October and there was a girl with the a picture where she is bald and had her hand up like she was holding something above her head with a great big smile. Do you know who I am talking about? I can't find any posts here from her and she really helped me with her very positive attitude and do you know if she is on this site?

    Digging into my memory banks
    I can see the picture in my brain too but can't recall the name. I think it will come to though..memory recall is slow but sometimes eventually kicks in. I will get back to you when the name comes to me. How are you doing? Hugs N Prayers bonnie

    Hi Lisa,
    I remember Lindaprocopio had a picture like that because she looked so happy and in control. If it was Linda she now has changed to a picture with two cute little children on there. I could be wrong, it may not be her at all but just a thought :)

    I changed my photo back, just in case! :D
    I never thought about how confusing it must be when I keep changing my photo! So I re-posted my 'bald' photo, so we can see if LisaK is looking for ME! (You may need to click on 'View' and then 'Refresh' to get the updated photo). This photo was taken in December, and although I am still just as bald, I now have no eyelashes or eyebrows unless I draw them on, and am a good 15 pounds heavier and looking a bit more haggard from the additional 3 months of chemo since that photo was taken. I hope to grow some hair during the radiation phase of my treatment that will start soon and last until early July. If it is me that LisaK is looking for, please know how flattered I am to be remembered and asked after! (blush)

    Thank you everyone!! I have looked everywhere for this site because this was the site that helped me the most through my toughest times! and I love that picture Linda it also helped with your confident look and you show everyone it's ok and you can be happy because life is what you make it. I'm very happy to see she is fine and didn't just stop writing.. :)

    thank you again everyone! because Linda changed her picture it made me come out of hiding.. LOL

    Yes I have been looking for you and I have been worried sick because I never seen your picture anymore I even looked in all the archives and nothing!! I looked and researched a thousand web-sites and nothing (ok maybe not a thousand but close). I love that picture because to me it shows strength and courage and happiness. I read your post because what you were talking about I was also going through at the same time. it was kind of a heads up for me. I thank you for sharing your experience with us because I'm sure it's helped more than just me. Everyone here is so wonderful and has helped give hope and understand to, I related quickly with you more because I was going through the same things at that time. You have helped me personal more than you will ever know.. thank you sooo much Lindarocopio. Thank you for putting up the picture.. (Huge Smile)

    Thanks! I've really been enjoying everyone's updated photos!
    I love all of your new photos; such a good looking group! I used this 'baldy' photo to make a Valentine card for my husband on Snapfish.com, and also used one of me hooked up to the chemo IV. I added a "For Better or for Worse" caption to the front of the card. He really held up his end of that vow this past year, poor guy. He keeps that card on his dresser. He really has been so wonderful about all this. I sure do miss having eyebrows, though, more so than even the loss of my eyelashes.

    You have a wonderful Husband! don't worry too much about your eyebrows they will come in soon. mine are just now little stubbies and so are my eyelashes. that is what I miss the most too. when you feel your eyebrows itching the hair is growing. :)
