energy healing

Has anyone here had energy healing done and massage. I had this done on Monday. The massage was great. Our Cancer society offers Cancer patients and survivors a reduced rate for this. Also thanks to everyone on here for support and prayers. God bless

    I haven't had it done but I'm intrigued by it. I have a friend who believes very strongly in energy healing and knows some energy healers that she would recommend for me. I'm not sure how beneficial it would be if one doesn't know enough about it before going into it, but hey, I like to be open-minded and how can anything relaxing not be a good thing?

    How did you feel after your session?

    I am sure everybody has their own perspective on this but at my support group back in 2006 we had an energy healer/massage therapist in for one of our meetings. Part of her discussion was a demonstration, which she needed a volunteer for. The group moderator and I winked at each other and I volunteered. She "read" my energy and proclaimed I was clear of any cancer issues and had very good strong energy. Our moderator asked pointed questions on interpretations, etc and she was adamant that my energy read healthy and strong. Well, the reason we winked at each other before I volunteered was that we knew I had a rather large tumor growing in my abdomen at that time and other smaller tumors; this was just prior to when my abdomen started really swelling from large amounts of ascites and the tumor growing even larger. So, needless to say neither of us believes in the power of energy healers. However, it could just be this particular person wasn't any good at what she did.

    Later that evening I felt tired, but not bad. I'm so wanting this to heal the negative effects of radiation that I received. It was a strange but neat feeling that I felt when she was doing this.
