Are any of you having to put up with this?....feelgood site!

Day 19 without running water. The Bog won't flush and we are using a portable. I had to go to my neighbours' today to have my hair washed (!st time in 2 weeks)... My husband is having a Pity Party all of his own and blaming me for that fact!..........I am totally Knackered after the treatments and Am seldom up before 10 or after 7. And to cap it all, My pet chicken dies this morning........I feel awful, I was so nasty to her last time I saw her, she tried to break into the house again........Pic will go up now of Peggy (dead chicken) with Riva ...dog.....So sad.

    Oh Tasha, I am so very sorry to hear of your current situation and the loss of your beloved chicken. I wish there were something I could do for you. Know that you are in my heart and in my prayers.

    So sorry to hear of your chicken's passing. I love my pets dearly and I can just imagine how you are feeling. I wish I had some ideas for your water situation. Hang in there. Don't feel bad about sleeping late-----your body needs it right now. Take care, Eil

    Your situation sounds really sad. No wonder you are depressed. Listen, I understand you are in Ontario?? It would be so nice if you could spend time with family or friends during your tx. (and later) It's only my opinion but I think you need to be around loving supportive people. I don't know if you are aware but unemployment insurance will pay up to 16 weeks for disability and the feds will give you a disability income through your CPP. There is also income for people unable to work through social services. I only mention these in case you wanted to change your situation by removing yourself from a depressing atmosphere. I can only speak for myself but I would rather be sitting in a one room motel then have someone run me down esp when I'm going through tx.

    Please also seek out the cancer agency in your area and let them know of your problems, I'm sure they can help. Let them know you are under tx, depressed, with no running water, no support. I'd be shocked if they didn't take you under their wing.

    I am so sorry about your pet chicken. It's funny how the least likely animal can crawl into our hearts. I'm sure it was the last thing you needed.

    I really hope you find your way out of this black hole and into loving, kind and supportive arms. Personally I'd like to slap your guy upside the head, lucky him, I'm 3000 miles away.

    My heart is going out to you. I still have another one of your posts on my mind the one on caregivers. I hope you know that there is support and help for you..Please reach out to the places that can help you. If your man is angry at you for the cancer.. then he needs to talk to someone who will put this all in perspective for him, Please don't let him make it worse for you, You need to get your water running darling and put the word out to someone who can make that happen.
    I'm sorry about your chicken,I also am an animal lover, just try to keep your head up and know what a special woman you are and that all of this will get better. And you will be a better person because of it. God does love you so much and we are all here for you too. You are in my prayers.

    I wish I could come peel you off the ceiling. I'd bring 10 gallon jugs of water, too. Get that man off the pity pot and hauling some water in. Even the Minoans on Crete had plumbing systems. What gives? Lynn

    You can't live with them, You can't shoot them!
    He has hurt his back so it's now my job to carry in wood for the woodburner...

    Not just the pipes. The WELL froze! I'm moving somewhere Hot and Steamy, Somewhere full of Hot and Steamy people...Any suggestions?

    Well, sweet Tash~ our youngest is moving out (YAY!) and into her first apartment on the weekend...hint hint! Come on out to California! We have room, we know what cancer/chemo/Pity Parties/ Venting/ and TRIUMPH is all about!

    Even if we know this won't happen, I truly want you to know that if you could, I would! And that has to be worth something, doesn't it???

    I am sorry about your losses; be they water, and of course the chicken... they never come at a good time, but some times seems more difficult than others, don't they?

    Stay close to us in here, we walk the journey together, you know.

    Well Tasha, Fortunately, it looks like you have the outfit to fit right in at many hot and steamy places. Unfortunately, in many of those places, it is traditional for the women have to go fetch the firewood and haul the water. Oh, well...or no well. (((hugs))) Lynn
