well I met with the team of Oncologist, nurses, paliative care and social worker... about my mom coming home on friday... they are all AMAZED on how well my mom is doing its been 3 weeks and still strong (since they last said she would only have 3 days to live) My mom is walking with a walker and is eating and keeping it down and also is still having bowel movements (sorry) and they said my mom got them puzzled on how well she is doing with a perforation, they said it could of sealed off??? they are not sure...but anyways come this Friday she will be home...hurray

    KathiM may be right about Miracles. In my profession I have seen the worst of people but there just is something about this time of year. Special things happen. Merry Christmas to you and your Mom.
