Crazy Sexy Cancer was great. Kris Karr's book is even better. She continues her humor and philosophy throughout. If you enjoyed the show...get the book!

I am going on my own cancer road trip this week. Hoping to learn more while I am at Cancer Treatment Centers of America this week. Sounds like they are going to teach me a lot about total body, i.e. nutrition, complementary therapies, spirituality, visualization and of course the toxic drugs they will be mixing in with it.

I am also going to ask them about Poly-MVA, which the FDA considers "too good to be true" when tests showed it cured cancer, yet they will not acknowledge it as a therapy.

Mind, body & spirit....sounds like the way to go.

Glad you enjoyed the show. Kris Carr and her posse have definitely inspired me!

Best of luck to you in your journey.

    Broccoli....

Fortunately, my 2 daughters (ages 8 & 10) absolutely LOVE broccoli. UNFORTUNATELY, my son (13 yrs old) is not a fan. However, I have come up with terrific ways to incorporate it into meals.

Dice up raw broccoli into salads with romaine lettuce. Camoflauged with dressing, carrots, croutons, and cheese, nobody knows it's in there!

Soup: Find a great soup base for your recipe, and add finely chopped broccoli to the mix. You get the benefits of the broccoli without the gag.

Steamed: When you steam broccoli, mix it with steamed cauliflower and carrots. The tastes mesh to keep one flavor from out-ranking another. Spritz steamed veggies with spray margarine for nearly no calories.

    Hope this helps a little.

    Hugs,
    Stacy

There better not be any High-Fructose Corn Syrup in that dressing!!
