Returning Cancer after Radiation

I had radiation 12 years ago at age 50. Now my PSA indicates that the big C probably has returned. My Urologist is waiting for 3 months to run another PSA to be sure.
I have read that there isn't a lot that can be done other than hormones if it has returned due to the damage done by the radiation.
Any help or input on what is available? I am very nervous and stressed at this time.
Thanks,
Orcountryboy

I can't find much info regarding my problem. Does anyone know where I could look? Either I am looking in the wrong place or using the wrong key words.fcatroneo said:From what I have read, your doctor is correct. If you had radiation the next step is hormonal. There is a salvage type surgery, but that would be a last resort.
Good Luck and our prayers are with you.
Thanks for your help and support.0
