Hi all, I have been AWOL at the cabin for the past 3 weeks. I am tanned, I have ate too much and I have stayed up too late. Shame on me. What a blast this has been spending my last few weeks before going back to work recovering at a place with a bunch of retired old farts. I pray I will have the opportunity in live to become a retired old fart. Monday is my first day back at work. I negotiated coming back 5 hrs per week ( I manage 17 sales people) in the office for as long as I need. Is a couple of yrs pushing it?
Anyway, I am happy that my recovery allows me the opportunity to be health enough go back to work; and at the same time bummed out that I have to go back.

Given the choice, I think I will be happy for the opportunity to work. Make today a great day as it is your choice to do so.

Every time I think of it, I smile!

Rest and relaxation is good for your soul as well as your body. Best wishes on going back to work.

    Way to go Mark!!!!!

I suspect I will be feeling the same things about going back to work soon but like you said, it is pretty wonderful "problem" to have.

BTW.....I love the happier then a fart in a newly built colon reference!!!!!!!! I laughed out loud when I read it. Thanks!!!!!

    Hi Limey,

I was so thrilled to be back at my work after surgery and chemo, it was like I was a different person. We're alive! Isn't it great? I've also taken a new path at work--more appreciation and deep breathing, less sweating the small stuff. Good luck with your reentry.
