I walked barefooted on a concret pebbled driveway yesterday, I've never had anything feel so strange in my life. I keep my shoes on all the time, even in the house. jams

Remember what it was like when you first started walking???? Well, guess what? You will get used to it...but please be careful...my beau has no feeling in his feet at all, and when he cuts himself we don't know until I find little red tracks all over the house!!!
Also, he has an annoying habit of stepping on people's (mine, mostly...hehehehhe) feet...no feeling...

    Hi Jams,

I have the tinglies from the oxiplatin. In my feet I can feel how cold the floor is. Very weird feeling. I wear socks all day in the house the first days after getting it. It does get better before I start a new treatment. I don't have the numbness and I'm doing Reiki to help all my issues. I think it is helping to get me through all this. Since it is hot outside I like to walk barefoot on our cement porch. Good luck. Are you taking B complex to help some? I have been taking that since the begining and I think it does help. Take Care and HUGS!!

Hi, Jams. I finished chemo in early March and still have a bit of the tingles and numbness in my toes, but they're much better and the neuropathy in my hands is completely gone now. During chemo, my doctor recommended 100 mg of B-6 daily, as well as glutamine (which comes in a powder that dissolves in water). He also told me neuropathy usually goes away after chemo, but it may take up to a year to do so. Take care, and good luck.

Like Ifonsdots63, I did Reiki, plus I used guided imagery, meditation and prayer to help get me through chemo.
