Hello everyone, Hope all is well with everyone and I am keeping you all in my prayers!! I just wanted to share that I will be celebrating "LIFE" Five years later !! On 6-6-01 I started on my adventure !! I will be getting blood work today and hoping and praying I hear great news ! What an adventure it was !! But it sure makes you appreciate LIFE ! Too all of you just beginning your "Adventure" Hang in there ..Its so tough , I had my last surgery Oct.2005 to remove a "silicone implant"which was the worst decesion I made through my adventure..I went with the DIEP ,painful but so well worth it..I joined this website in 2001 during chemo and it helped me so much..wanted to thank all of those whom chatted with me and emailed me to hang in there..it was a huge uplift when I was feeling like I couldn't survive chemo...God Bless to all...thank you thank you thank you....a million times....

I'm on day 17 of radiation...a little bummed yesterday...tech told me I am having 5 more than I thought...so, last night in chat, many lovely ladies shared THEIR secret to burns (on my SHOULDER of all places!!!). It's a burn creme. I had some from my colon radiation. Used it last night, burns are GONE this morning!

YAHOOOOOO!!! great news!! i'm sooo happy for you. that's so wonderful that your doctor didn't charge - it's such a great thing to have such sensitive people taking care of you. i know - i lost my job right before i got sick and my surgeon waived my copay for all of my visits. i was so touched - i couldn't believe he gave that up for me. god bless you - so glad that you got good news!!
