Can someonetell me if I missed the palooza?
I would like to attend but I can't find the info on the message board anymore and I think it might be over. I would be so sad, I wanted to meet you all. AND I LIVE NEAR AUSTIN!!!!
Please let me know.

    Thanks for the reply!
    I moved to Texas in the 70's when DALLAS the TV show was a hit. That's when I added the Bob to my name. (I was only 10, so it made sense, and then kinda stuck.) So yee haw is right, Cindybob's coming to the party! SpongeBOB will be there too, right?

    Hi Cindy....I know Kerry will not be on here from the 17th for a coupla days so here is some info in case you cannot contact her. These are "extracts" from Kerry's info emails;
    "The Marriott is the hotel where everyone will be staying. The
    phone number is: 1-800-228-9290 or directly 512-478-1111. The keyword is
    "semicolons". The sales manager who helped me make the arrangements is:
    Jim Moreno.
    On Thursday night Merriman and I will host dinner/drinks/entertainment at
    our home. (We have a pool and hot tub so bring swim suits)

    Everything here in Austin is casual....no dressing up is allowed. If you
    wear your cowboy boots you will be right at home!

    One day I am taking you all to San Antonio and visit the Riverwalk and the
    Alamo. We will have a great time."

    That hopefully will help you Cindy.(I think the "final" booking date for the rooms Kerry had set aside was 6th april but there may still be rooms available if you need accom.)
    Cindy....Jen and I are flying into Austin on the 21st. Lisa Rose(Lisa), Andy and Scouty(Lisa) are arriving on the 25th. Most will be arriving on the 27th in time for the "big party" at Kerry's home that evening. Kerry has much organised for the palooza including a trip to CSN and other various places.
    So come join tha party y'all!!!

    April 30th...mid afternoon...late lunch or early dinner at my house. I know some have to leave that day or the next morning so we will make it an early evening!

    Hey Kay.....did yah tell everyone I offered to cook tha meal?....and you declined my offer?
    Ok....lets see what the others think of my menu?
    Entree.....'roo paw crackers with goanna tongue pate' garnished with a generous helping of eucalyptus leaf topping.
    Soup.....kangaroo tail or White Pointer shark fin soup.
    Main Course/3 choices
    Emu wings marinated in Taipan Snake venom BBQ'd over flaming gumnut kernels;
    Crocodile entrails roasted to a crisp covered with a copious serving of canetoad sauce with side dish of funnel web spider eggs(similar to caviar...only they move!)(recommended by Steve Irwin)
    Pan fried "blue tongue lizard" roasted in their own scales(hacksaw provided) with side dish of selected delicacies(bull ant legs,fried koala droppings, roasted bat ears)
    Desert.....choice of mud cake, crushed oyster shell over icecream or steamed moth wings with emu oil.

    Okay, so I think that I have everything straight. Kerry, who is MIA right now is hosting on Thursday, so if I make a direct e-mail I can probably get directions. Oh, I just thought, I don't know if I can make the Thursday, because I am a teacher and mom and it's a school night, but I'm open the rest of the weekend. And sounds like Kay has saved us from Croc entrails. Thank you!
    Well, I really look forward to meeting all of you. My hubby, David will try to come to things as well.
