Goodmorning. I got the results of the ca125 lab test.

Unfortunately my tumor markers are up. They had gone down to 154 and now are 184. I am going to continue with this chemo for the month but need to go in the week before my next Dr appointment and have them drawn again. That way we have the results when I see my Dr.

As you can imagine I was very dissapointed. I now see how those without such a positive spirit stay there, they deal with less disappointment. But I know with the Lords help we will get through this. I just need to shed a few tears and then get on with living.

I wish it was better news, I felt so positive that the chemo was working and was feeling better. Oh well, when life gives you lemons - a person better not forget how to make lemonade.

Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

    Bonnie:
I'm so sorry you didn't get a better report. But I'm glad to see you are still trusting the 'Great Physician'. If there's anything I can do (other than the prayers), please let me know.

Also, thank you for responding to my 'prescription' question. I will follow up on that. And no hurry on the shawl. Please let me send you at least the shipping cost. You can e-mail me with that info.

Please try to get some rest today - maybe watch a good movie, a funny one, or something that will make you laugh and smile, even though you may not feel like it right now. My chemo is next Wednesday, and I'm not looking forward to it. So I'm trying these next few days to enjoy the moment.

Till later, sending hugs your way.

I am also sorry about the results of your CA125. I wish that there was something that I could do. There are some more chemo's out there. We will all keep praying. Hang in there! Paula
