Thanks to eveyone and their encourouaging words. They help so much. I stated on my last post my daughter we 7 in April. she will be ( 17 )in April and son turned 15 this yrs.
Dr. took me off one of my nausea irritability drug yesterday so hopefully some thing will give on that stant point right now. They really wanted this study done on me for Abrazane....guess it's really too soon to know much about it...but I will say the sore bones and muschle aches are horrible. I'm on continuous pain meds with nausea continuosly. It's tollereable with the med though. There isn't much out there for young people with cancer, let alone on Breast Mests so getting infor to read is very hard to come by, as some of you have already ecountered. I've been keeping a daily journal on what's been going on during all of this. My nurse's are so grateful to know how things go on a reg. baisis with this sort of information. But I feel left in the dark most of the time with no feedback.
WEll, I love being here, and listening to the daily posts, the cards and words that are dropped here and there are beautiful. I hope to stop and post often as I can but I'm sure there are days when I will not feel up to it. I hope I can help someone else get through this journey. I just take it day by day now and thank god I wake each morning to a breath to say good morning and good night to all that I love.

Lisa

Sincerely,
Lisa

    Hi Lisa,

Glad to see You are standing,I was going to use the word tough but it is really alot deeper than that,so I'll stick with standing. It's especially difficult when You have children,my prayers are with You.I think we all sometimes feel we are left in the dark.I seem to continually find out things about my diagnoses and such, even now 3 years later-I just thought I was up on everything then -now I wonder if I'll ever know everything. I guess as long as the important things are checked all is good.Hopefully nothing slips by and sneaks up on me later,ya know.
God is good - keeping a good attitude with lots of gratitude makes life a lot easier to live. Keep Your faith and hang in there,we are here when You need us.
    HUGS

So sorry you are going through this. We seem to be in the same boat but for the fact that I am much older at 62. I had lumpectomy, chemo, radiation in 2002. Everything icluding my bloodwork was fine in early Oct of 2005, by Nov 15th I was having pain in my stomach and back, loosing weight etc. Went to the GP had a ultrasound and found out I had liver cancer mets. Back to the OC who did a PET/CT had cancer in a couple spots in my bones and a enlarged lyump node above the breast that had cancer. She said I'd have some type of chemo until I die maybe three weeks off. Not to sure there is much to live for feeling this lousy. I have a great husband and many dogs that I love so will keep on trying. I have a CT in early April everything had much improved after four chemos but as of last two blood checks don't look good to me. Rarely see the DR so often feel I am in this by myself. I am on taxtorene and carboplatium three times a month. Have gainned back most ot the weight I lost but weak and my eyes drive me crazy either watering or else dry and itchy, hard to read and that is the one thing I thought I had left. My ca marker was in early Jan 1140 down to 137 last week but the liver markers are going up. How high are yours? What chemo have they tired? I keep saying let hang in there for as long as we can because maybe just down the road will be that magic bullet that will cure us, remember you are you and not a figure so stop listening to how many years or months they tell you you might have. I'll keep you in my prayers he is one mighty healers and yes miracles do happen. Hope you have a husband and or parents to help you through this. Linda

    Linda,

Your ordeal sounds awful. I hope something works soon. I don't have any advice. Just wanted you to know that I care very much. Hugs and hugs.

Oh, Linda, my heart breaks for you. I, too, have had lumpectomy, chemo, and am starting rads soon. To add to the mix, 6 months prior, I was dx with unrelated colon ca. So I know what you mean about feeling this is endless. I'm sorry for the hands off of the Onc....can you switch, get another opinion. Some of them keep up better than others, know more about trials, etc. Sweetie, my hugs go to you. Many times through this stuff I felt like giving up, but I'm so darn stubborn, and I just CANT let the beast WIN!!!!
I have eye trouble with the Taxol....as well as joint pain day 4, so I can sympathize.
My thoughts and prayers are there.

Lisa, you are one brave lady. To try to find something that will also help the rest of us. I can tell you that even my more traditional treatment with Taxol has very bad joint pain, but it only lasts for a few days.
You are such a trooper! I am sending you many, many hugs!!!
