I got accepted to be a 2007 colondar model!

Hi everyone
I applied for the colondar and got accepted. Anyone else here doing this??? We shoot in June. This is so exciting. 24 folks selected from all walks of life so I will get to know them well over that weekend. Molly from the Colon Club seems so ultra cool. Any of you know her?

    Hi Claudia.....congratulations! After seeing Sponger have his body up on stage so to speak I thought that sooner or later someone from this board would enter.
    I would have done so myself but it is a bit far to go for a photo shoot. And in any case my body has already been under some scrutiny with members of this site. Some have already seen it on priv. emails ......not a pretty site....lol!

    congratulations claudia! My daughter, jillian, is 23 and was dx last april with stage 3 rectal. i have been in touch with molly and she was kind enough to have her mother email me. they both are wonderful people. i begged my daughter to try out for the colondar but she has no interest yet. i puchased 2. 1 hangs in my office and i gave 1 to our gastroenterologist for his office. i look forward to seeing you in the 2007 edition! By the way, my daughter received a gift of a puppy right after her diagnosis. he has helped her (and all of us) make it through infections, chemo, surgery, radiation and more chemo. he goes to training class now so that hopefully he will become a therapy dog one day :) lots of good luck and good health to you....susan

    Actually, I applied -- but didn't get selected. That is fine by me -- I just wanted to show my support to this wondeful cause. And now "fitnessbuff31", too -- that is great! Good on you both!

    Your title makes me feel very un-buff! But I am trying to walk more and get back in shape for this...and life! I bet you are a sexy thing then!

    Wow, this is so awesome!!! Congrats Claudia!!! I actually joked about it with my doctor when he said I made good scar. I think I'll try go for it next year. Looking forward to seeing you on the colondar!
