need info on breast cancer

they found another lump after my mamogram and they want me to wait another 6 months to see if it has changed. what do i do. had chemo & radation. on nothing now except paxel cr.25mg.

    In my opinion a biospy is in order to see what if anything that lump is. Cancer does not wait six months sometimes plus there is the peace of your mind to consider. Prayers Linda

    I agree with Linda that waiting 6 months is a bit scarey. Did they do a Sonogram? Sometimes they can tell by the shape if it is to be worried about and a Sonogram may help ...without the biopsy. If you are ER+ you should be on Tamoxifen at least I would think. Good luck. Keep us informed. Jamie

    I wouldn't wait 6 days. You insist on having a biopsy done right away. Waiting is not an option.

    I would suggest getting an ultrasound. If they find something, then they will do a a biopsy, which is also called a fine needle aspiration.
